UNCHAIN（アンチェイン）は、京都府京丹後市出身の日本の4人組ロックバンドである。

目次

概要 [編集]

1996年、中学の同級生であった谷川、谷、吉田の3人で結成され、後に1年後輩の佐藤が加入し現在の編成となる。後に活動の拠点を大阪に移し､地道なライブ活動を展開する。2005年、ミニアルバム『the space of the sense』を発表しインディーズ・デビュー。同年10月に「MINAMI WHEEL 2005」に初出演し、またミニアルバム『departure』でメジャー・デビュー。
ジャズやソウルミュージックなどを融合させたミクスチャー・ロックサウンドが特徴。当初歌詞は全編英語詞で書かれていたが、シングル『Across The Sky』以降は、よりダイレクトにメッセージを伝えるために日本語詞による楽曲も発表されている。
