Unreal Engineを採用したゲームソフト一覧（アンリアルエンジンをさいようしたゲームソフトいちらん）は、Epic Gamesより開発されたゲームエンジン「Unreal Engine」を採用したゲームの一覧である。
採用ソフトの傾向・変遷[編集]
元々、Unreal EngineはEpic Gamesの『Unreal』のMODツールがもとになっており、バージョンを重ねる中で、ほかの開発会社からMODツールの利便性が評判になったことがきっかけで、ゲームエンジンとして誕生した経緯がある[1]。
Epic EngineはUnreal Engine3の時点で、ゲーム会社向けのライセンス提供は行っていた[1]。とはいえ、この当時は日本法人がないため、アメリカの本社を通じてライセンスの提供やサポートを行っていたが、言語や時差のせいで日本のユーザーが使いにくい状態にあり、プロジェクトのお蔵入りを招いていた[1]。その後、2009年末に日本法人であるEpic Games Japanが立ち上げられ、河崎高之が代表に就任した[1]。Epic Games Japan設立前の時点から日本国内におけるゲームエンジンそのものの認知度が低かったうえ、知っていてもあまり信頼されていなかったため[注釈 1]、同社を立ち上げた最初の2年は営業の際にゲームエンジンについて説明が求められる状態が続いた[1]。
一方、大元の『Unreal』がFPSであることから、他のジャンルが作りにくいという指摘がEpic Gamesに寄せられるようになったため、Unreal Engine 4を作る際は、従来の成功体験を捨て、本格的なゲームエンジンを作るという方針が立てられた[1]。
2012年にUnreal Engine 4が公開されて以来、採用作品が増えた理由について、河崎はハード性能向上に伴い求められるものが増えたため、効率化目的でに導入されたのではないかと分析しており、『ドラゴンクエストXI 過ぎ去りし時を求めて』といった人気作で採用されたのが大きいとも話している[1]。
2022年春にはUnreal Engine 5が公開された[2]。
