ロックスター・アドバンスド・ゲーム・エンジン

ロックスター・アドバンスド・ゲーム・エンジン"Rockstar Advanced Game Engine"、通称"RAGE"はRockstar San DiegoとRockstar Northによって作り出されたゲームエンジン。PC用、またPS3、Xbox 360、Wii等の次世代機用のゲーム開発を容易にする基盤として開発した。自社の製作するグランド・セフト・オートIVなどのゲームに使用されている。

RAGEよりも前には、Rockstar社はCriterion Games社のRenderWareと呼ばれるゲームエンジンを用いてPS2やXbox、PC用の数々のソフトを開発していたが、Criterion Games社がエレクトロニック・アーツの傘下に入った事も影響し、今回のRAGEを開発するに至った。
