南極にある教会の一覧
南極にも教会(Antarctic churches)はいくつかある。
この記事で扱う南極の教会とは、南極大陸本土と南極収束線の南に建てられた、キリスト教徒のための教会を指す。南極条約第6条では、南極とは南緯60度線以南の陸地と棚氷である、と政治的に定義されている。そして自然界において最も近い境界は南極収束線にあたる。

南極大陸本土には教会が8つあり[1]、そして南極収束線の南にはさらに二つある[2]。地球上で最も南にある宗教関連の建物は、en:Bertrab NunatakのBelgrano II基地にある、氷を削って作られたカトリックの教会、Chapel of Our Lady of the Snowsである[3]。キリスト教の為だけに使える自立構造物はとても少ない。だが、大部分の南極観測基地には小ぶりなミーティングルームがあって、キリスト教徒も世界の他の宗教徒もそこを、宗教的祭祀のために使える[4]。雪の聖堂ではモルモン教、バハイ教、仏教などの、他の信仰グループも礼拝を催すことができる[5]。これらの宗教的建築物は南極に居る全ての人間（夏は約4400人から冬は約1100人まで変化する）のためにある。これらの人々は、およそ40ある通年基地と、夏季限定の基地、キャンプ、避難所に広く分散している[6]。
