オージェイズ (The O'Jays) は、アメリカのオハイオ州で1958年に結成されたソウル・トリオ。
10年以上の苦節を経て、72年ごろより世界的に知られるようになる。
フィラデルフィア・インターナショナルで「裏切り者のテーマ」が初のヒット曲となり、その後も「ラヴ・トレイン」などがクロスオーバー・ヒットとなった。
ソウル・チャートでは80年代後半になってもヒットを出すなど、息の長いトリオである。
リーダーのエディ・レヴァートの息子のジェラルド・レヴァートも「レヴァート」として86年からヒットを出し活躍していたが、2006年、父親よりも先に若くして亡くなる。
2021年になり、1982年にオハイオ州のツインズバーグ市の工場の裏のゴミ袋から見つかった遺体の身元がDNA鑑定によりフランク・リトル・Jrのものであることが確認された[1]。
