ヴィディアダハル・スラヤプラサド・ナイポール（Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul, 1932年8月17日 - ）はイギリスの作家。旧イギリス領西インド諸島トリニダードのインド人の家系に生まれる。祖父はヒンドゥー教徒の農園労働者。父はジャーナリスト。1950年より奨学生としてイギリスのオックスフォード大学で4年間学んだ後、BBCの仕事をした後、作家として出発し、以来創作に専念した。トリニダードのインド人社会を舞台にした小説を数多く書き、コミカルな作風で高く評価され、1971年に『In a Free State』にてブッカー賞を受賞、2001年にノーベル文学賞を受賞した。現在はイギリスに在住。1990年には文学への貢献により貴族の称号を授与されている。
