ビッフィ・クライロ（Biffy Clyro）は、スコットランド出身のロック・バンド。

欧州で数々の音楽賞を受賞するなど[1]、英国ではトップの実績を誇るスコット産のオルタナティヴ・ロックバンド。

経歴[編集]

[2]1995年、サイモン・ニール(Vo/G)とジェームズ(B)&ベン(Ds)のジョンストン兄弟で結成。

2002年にベガーズ・バンケット・レコードからアルバム『ブラックンド・スカイ（Blackened Sky）』を発表しインディーズ・デビュー。

3rdアルバム『インフィニティ・ランド（Infinity Land）』を英国インディー・チャート4位に送り込んだ後、ワーナー傘下の14th Floorに移籍しメジャー進出。レッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパーズ、ザ・フー、ザ・ローリング・ストーンズなどの前座を務めて知名度を上昇させ、メジャー初・自身4枚目のアルバム『パズル（Puzzle）』で英国チャート2位のヒットを生む。

その後は各ロック・フェスティバルでヘッドライナーに抜擢されるようになり、2010年12月4日にはウェンブリー・アリーナでの公演を行った。

初来日は2008年4月。その後同年8月のサマーソニックに出演。2010年には単独公演とサマーソニック出演を兼ねて来日している。2014年にはフジロックフェスティバル14に出演。
