平野傑

平野 傑（ひらの つよし、Tsuyoshi HIRANO.、1968年7月6日 - ）は、フランス、アメリカ、日本を拠点に活躍する画家、アーティスト。
絵画を中心に、ライブペインティングや広告デザインも手掛ける。フランスに17年間滞在中、フランスを代表する新聞のル・モンド紙の挿絵連載を機に個展や展覧会を開催。2010年より、アトリエを日本に移す。
Tsuyoshi Hirano (Born on July 6, 1968) is a painter/an artist based in Japan, France, and the US. Besides painting, Tsuyoshi also does live painting performance and works on advertising design. During a 17-year residency in France, his illustrations were serialized in French leading newspaper, Le Monde. The serialization triggered his carrier, and he had held solo exhibitions and exhibited in various art shows in France. He moved the atelier to Japan in 2010.

中学時代にデュラン・デュラン、カルチャークラブ、マドンナ、マイケル・ジャクソンなどの衣装やファッションに影響を受ける。身に着けるもので自分自身の個性を表現できるファッションの世界に関わりたいと、文化服装学院アパレルデザイン科に入学。
卒業後、株式会社ワールドに入社し、デザイナーとして活躍中に、「ゼロから始めよう」と、突然退職し、渡仏。
フランスで、服を30着ほど作りそれらを撮影し、「売らない展示会」として発表。すると、フランスを代表する新聞社「ル・モンド」から服ではなく、絵の依頼が来る。独自で考えた、グレーの下地で陰を描き、黒い線だけで墨絵のように描いた絵を何枚も持ち込んだところ、次の日に、「ル・モンド」に掲載されていた。そこから、画家、アーティストとしての活躍が始まる。
数々の個展や、ハイブランドの広告を手掛けていた2011年、東日本大震災が起きた時、日本に滞在していた。「日本はこのままどうなってしまうのだろう」という思いから、フランスから日本へ拠点を移す。
現在、ライブペイントなども精力的に行い、コンセプトである「個」と、テーマである「Continuum～コンティニュアム・連続性」を基に、活動中。
Born in Kadoma, Osaka. Inspired by major musicians’ costumes and fashions including Duran Duran, Culture Club, Madonna and Michael Jackson in his junior high school days, he became interested in fashion – where clothing expresses individuality. He studied apparel design at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo.
After the graduation, he worked for World Co, a Japanese leading apparel company, as a designer, but decided to resign his job in order to "start from scratch” in France.
In early days in France, he created and photographed 30-ish garments, and published his work as 'Not for Sale Exhibition'. The work – his painting, not garments, caught an attention of Le Monde. He brought several paintings - drew shadows with a grey undercoat and used only black lines like an ink painting, in Le Monde, and he got an offer of serialized illustrations next day. From there, his career as a painter and an artist started.
When the Great East Japan Earthquake attacked Japan in 2011, he was in France and worked on numerous solo exhibitions and high brands advertisement. Tsuyoshi had concerned about the future in Japan and moved his base to Japan.
Based on the concept of 'Individual' and the theme of 'Continuum - Continuity', Tsuyoshi currently energetically involved in arts including live painting performance.
