トゥ・ローン・スウォーズメン（Two Lone Swordsmen）は、イギリス・ロンドン出身のエレクトロニック・ミュージック・デュオ[1]。アンドリュー・ウェザオールとキース・テニスウッドで構成されていた[2] 。

略歴[編集]

アンドリュー・ウェザオールのセイバーズ・オブ・パラダイスが解散した後、1996年にウェザオールとキース・テニスウッドによって結成[3]されたトゥ・ローン・スウォーズメンは、ウェザオールが運営するレコードレーベル「Emissions Audio Output」から楽曲をリリースした[1]。しかし、オペレーションが小さいという性質がデュオの成功を制限していたため、その後、彼らはワープとの契約に署名した[1]。

トゥ・ローン・スウォーズメンのデビュー・スタジオ・アルバム『ザ・フィフス・ミッション (リターン・トゥ・ザ・フライトパス・エステイト)』は、1996年にリリースされた[4]。1998年の『ステイ・ダウン』は、ピッチフォークによる「50 Best IDM Albums of All Time」リストの22位にランクインした[5]。『Tiny Reminders』（2000年）は、ピッチフォークによる「2000年のトップ20アルバム」リストの19位にランクインした[6]。このデュオは2004年に『フロム・ザ・ダブル・ゴーン・チャペル』をリリースした[7][8]。

2020年2月17日、ウェザオールは56歳で肺血栓塞栓症のために亡くなった[9]。
