ローレンス・マイケル・イェップ（英：Laurence Michael Yep、漢：葉祥添 / ピン音：Yè Xiángtiān、1948年6月14日 - ）は中華系アメリカ人の小説家。日本語表記はヤップとも。多作家で、受賞歴あり。

カリフォルニア州サン・フランシスコ生まれ。末子であった。彼は長ずるにつれてアメリカ文化と中国文化の間で板ばさみ感を覚えるようになり、その感情を創作という形で表現し始めた。彼の初めの作品は高校時代に、SF雑誌に掲載された。
イェップはマルケット大学（Marquette University）に通い、そしてカリフォルニア大学サンタクルーズ校を卒業した。彼はニューヨーク州立バッファロー大学（State University of New York at Buffalo）で英文学の博士号を取得した[1]。
彼の最も有名な作品は"Golden Mountain Chronicles"と呼ばれるシリーズで、これは1849年の中国から1995年のアメリカにおける、ヤング（Young）という一家の動向を描いた小説である。彼はこのシリーズの内の二作、『ぼくは黄金の国へ渡った』（"Dragon's Gate"）と『ドラゴン複葉機よ、飛べ』（"Dragonwings"）によってニューベリー賞佳作（Newbey Honor）を受賞している。後者は戯曲化もなされ、1995年にはフェニックス賞（Phoenix Award）も受賞している。他の有名作品としては"Dragon series"と"The Chinatown Mysteries"がある。彼は児童文学への寄与を理由に、2005年、ローラ・インガルス・ワイルダー賞を授賞された。
イェップは同じく作家のジョアンヌ・ライダー（Joanne Ryder）と結婚しており、2007年現在、カリフォルニア州パシフィック・グローヴ（Pacific Grove）で暮らしている。
