トルガナンナTrugernanner, Truganini, Trugannini, Trucanini, Trucaminni[3], Trucaninnyニックネイム:"Lalla Rooke."[4]1812年頃 − 1876年5月8日)は、純血パラワタスマニアン・アボリジニ, Tasmanian Aborigines)最後の人と認識される。


略歴[編集]

  • 1873年時点で、トルガナンナはオイスター・コウブのタスマニアン・アボリジニ最後の生存者となり、再びホバートへ移送。
  • 1876年、自身の骨灰をダントルカストー海峡に撒くことを希望して死去。 しかしながら、死体はボバート南部カスケイズ(Cascades)の女性用刑務所「カスケイズ・フィメイル・ファクトリー(Cascades Female Factory)」に埋葬される。
  • その2年後、彼女の死体はタスマニア王立協会によって検体のために掘り返され展示される[10]
  • 1976年4月、彼女の死後100年目にトルガナンナの遺体は火葬され、ダントルカストー海峡に撒かれる[11][12]
