ダイアナ・ドイチュ（英: Diana Deutsch、1938年2月15日 -）は、イギリス・ロンドン出身の認知心理学の研究者。カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校の教授で、音楽心理学の第一人者の一人。家系はドイツ系イギリス人。

概要[編集]

研究成果に「錯聴の発見」があり、その代表として、オクターブ・スケール・グリッサンドの錯聴、「三全音パラドックス（英語版）」、「カンビアータ・イリュージョン[1]」などがある。

また、ドイチュは、楽典に関する認知基盤も研究している。その分野は、音楽のピッチを記憶にとどめておく方法、音楽と言葉の音楽的つながりに関する方法である。加えて、彼女が示し続けていることが声調言語の話者の間で広く普及している、絶対音感についての活動もある。

略歴[編集]

ドイチュは、オックスフォード大学で心理学・哲学・生理学に関する文学士（First Class Honors）を、カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校で心理学のPh.Dを取得している。

ドイチュはアメリカ科学振興協会(AAAS)、アメリカ音響学会(ASA)、Audio Engineering Society(AES)、アメリカ実験心理学学会(en:Society of Experimental Psychologists)、科学的心理学会、アメリカ心理学会のフェローに選ばれている。また、アメリカ科学振興協会の科学推進部門の議長、アメリカ心理学会のうち10部門の議長、アメリカ実験心理学学会の議長をつとめている。

2004年には、心理学と芸術に関する業績に対し、アメリカ心理学会からルドルフ・アーンハイム賞を、2008年には、国際経験美学会(IAEA)から、経験美学に対する多大な貢献に対して贈られる、グスタフ・フェヒナー賞を受賞した。
