γ-グルタミルヒドロラーゼ

γ-グルタミルヒドロラーゼ(Gamma-glutamyl hydrolase)は、以下の化学反応を触媒する酵素である[1][2][3][4]。
- γ-グルタミル結合を加水分解する。
リソソーム型または分泌型のチオール依存性ペプチダーゼであり、酸性で最も活性が高い。
ヒトでは、GGH遺伝子でコードされ[3][5][6]、γ-結合ポリグルタミン酸やグルタミン酸を除去することで、ポリグルタミン酸型葉酸やポリグルタミン酸化された葉酸拮抗薬を加水分解する[6]。
