4-ヒドロキシ安息香酸-3-モノオキシゲナーゼ(4-hydroxybenzoate 3-monooxygenase)は、次の化学反応を触媒する酸化還元酵素である。
- 4-ヒドロキシ安息香酸 + NADPH + H+ + O2 プロトカテク酸 + NADP+ + H2O
反応式の通り、この酵素の基質は4-ヒドロキシ安息香酸とNADPHとH+とO2、生成物はプロトカテク酸とNADP+とH2Oである。補酵素としてFADを用いる。
組織名は4-hydroxybenzoate,NADPH:oxygen oxidoreductase (3-hydroxylating)で、別名にp-hydroxybenzoate hydrolyase、p-hydroxybenzoate hydroxylase、4-hydroxybenzoate 3-hydroxylase、4-hydroxybenzoate monooxygenase、4-hydroxybenzoic hydroxylase、p-hydroxybenzoate-3-hydroxylase、p-hydroxybenzoic acid hydrolase、p-hydroxybenzoic acid hydroxylase、p-hydroxybenzoic hydroxylaseがある。
