- ボルドウィン・スクール（フィラデルフィア）就学
- 1966年、ウェルズリー大学経済学士取得後、ニューヨーク大学大学院（Graduate School of Business Administration）で就学
- 1969年、Council on Economic Priorities（CEP、経済優先順位研究所）創設、30年にわたり代表に着任、Shopping for a Better World 発刊
