国際シュンペーター学会

国際ヨーゼフ・A・シュンペーター学会（ISS）は、ヨーゼフ・シュンペーターの精神に基づく研究を推進することを目的とした経済学会である。ヴォルフガング・F・ストルパーとホルスト・ハヌシュが1986年に設立した。

国際ヨーゼフ・A・シュンペーター学会の主な目的は、構造変化の力学、その起源、およびその影響という広範な研究領域における知識を深めることである。これらのトピックには、ダイナミックな企業家の役割、企業家の政治的・社会的問題、企業家の歴史、さらに所得分配、技術変化、雇用に関する研究課題を扱う研究が含まれる。本学会は、あらゆる学問的伝統の研究者による、科学的に健全で反イデオロギー的な研究を歓迎する。ヨーゼフ・シュンペーターに倣い、研究は "事実がありのままにあり、ふるまうこと "を尊重すべきであり、"事実がありのままにあり、ふるまうこと "を望むものであってはならない。

ISSは、シュンペーターの思想を反映したトピックに関する会議を年2回開催し、国際会議への資金援助を行い、会議録やその他の出版物を通じて研究の普及を促進している。シュンペーターに関連する学術的貢献には、ISSから学術賞が授与されている。1993年には、1991年に創刊されたJournal of Evolutionary Economicsを学会誌として出版している。
