英語版en:Honda S2000からS2000に関する批判を訳したのでとりあえずこちらに載せてみます。記事へ掲載することへの意見がある人はどうぞ。

S2000に関する批判

エンジン出力、スムーズなトランスミッション、電動トップ等に対する多方面に渡る賞賛にも関わらず、S2000は一方で批判もされている。

高出力にも関わらず、2.0L版の207Nm、2.2L版の220Nmという最大トルクは他の4気筒のスポーツカーと比較してかなり低いものである。(1989年式のポルシェ 944の4気筒エンジンは3.0Lという大排気量で279Nmという最大トルクを発揮する。) さらにS2000の対抗車種の多くはより多気筒、大排気量であり、そのことはより大きいトルク、馬力を意味する。 S2000の比較的低いトルクであるが高回転型のエンジンはピーキーなトルク曲線を描く。そのためにエンジンの回転数の上昇により加速感を増幅している。--219.98.130.6 2009年6月10日 (水) 23:57 (UTC)

Reference for AP1 specifications

Hi. Over at en:Honda S2000 we are looking for a reference for the Japanese market Honda S2000 AP1 specifications. I see in this article the compression ratio is quoted as 11.7:1. Is there a reference for this fact? Preferably an official website or a direct quote from the Honda S2000 Owner's manual would be good. パワープラントについて

「このエンジンは、全日本ツーリングカー選手権（JTCC）に参加していたレース用アコードのエンジン（H22A）をデチューンして市販化したものといわれており、」と記述がありますが、残念ながら独自研究の域を出ないようです。検索をかけてみましたがメーカーの開発者からの情報である証拠は見つかりませんでした。H系エンジンのボア径やFRMシリンダ等の搭載技術から推測されたものと思われますが、あくまで推測でありそれが事実かどうかを確認することはエンジン開発者以外には非常に困難です。--219.98.130.6 2009年6月10日 (水) 23:57 (UTC)

Honda SSM images

Hi. I've tried searching the net for images of the Honda SSM which was the concept car on which the S2000 was based (Google search here: http://www.google.com/images?q=Honda+SSM), but haven't found any images officially hosted by Honda themselves, only photos from blogs and other websites. While we could use one or two of them under the Fair Use criteria, it would be far preferable to get them from an official Honda source (for correct attribution) or better yet, some user submitted images released under a free license such as CC-by-SA 3.0. The Honda SSM was exhibited at the 1995 Tokyo Motor Show, is there any chance that someone here has photos (or access to photos) of the concept car that would be released under a free license? Or second prize is to find images of the SSM directly attributable to Honda (hosted on honda.com or one of the country-specific websites). As always, help is appreciated.
