please correct the article, the americans came after the battle only to parade on the 29 august, the battle ended the 25 august. it was a french-german battle, the free french 2nd armoured division and free french resistants fought with the german occupation forces. please correct the cpation for the picture, it is not allies but general leclerc's free french armored division, vehicles were built in america and had the "white star" but the free french "cross of lorraine" as well as they were operated by the general de gaille's free french forces. see the updated en:Battle for Paris article for details. thank you.
