About your change of user name on various projects[編集]

If you are wanting to change your user name you do not create the a account yourself. The new name is created for you and your edit history is moved to the new name. If you wish to have Asanagi as your user name it will need to be usurped on this project and English. On Commons just file the request. Hello delirious & lost. Thank you for your kind message and I apologize for my careless submission at enwiki. My commonswiki username was successfully changed, and I've just filed request (the last request) for new jawiki username.

I want to change my SUL name トマトン124 into Asanagi, but unfortunately the name was taken by a German as non-SUL account two years ago. So I decided to create account Asanagi at some wikipedias (except dewiki), and finally unify them as SUL account. The reason why I didn't change enwiki username is; I have valid contributions only at jawiki and commonswiki, so asking bureaucrats (of English, French, Italian, and so on) to change my name is almost meaningless. I would rather abandon the name トマトン124 at respective wikipedias.

It hasn't been long since I was involved in wikipedia, so my understanding about policies is not enough and my plan might be somewhat irrelevant. I hope my explanation and English make sense. -- トマトン124 2010年7月28日 (水) 16:27 (UTC)[返信]

はじめまして。私はT_suzu (Talk/History)と申します。先日はダービー博物館・美術館に加筆いただきまして、ありがとうございます。

私がこの記事を翻訳してみようと思ったのは、en:Wikipedia:GLAM/Derby/Multilingual Challengeの対象記事であったことがきっかけです。既にご存知かとは思いますが、ダービー博物館・美術館関連の記事を複数言語で充実させようという期間限定の取り組みで、高い貢献をすれば賞品も提供されます。

個人でも参加できますが二人でチームを組んで参加することもでき、チームを組んだほうが有利です。私ごときが申し上げるのも恐縮なのですがAsanagiさん、私とチームを組んで英語版から日本語版またはシンプル英語版への翻訳作業をやってみませんか？

Thank you for your suggestion. I added "Barton Swing Aqueduct 11.05.02R.jpg" to the article. To be honest, I had not done any contribution about the photo, but finally I got the chance to offer a little help. And, I'm glad to see the English version of Koshiji Bridge. I think that the bridge is important monument not only as the evidence of tie between Derby and Japan, but also as the memorial of era when Japan was about to moult from a small silk nation. Hello! I've seen that you played at the Wright Challenge and I would like to ask you for some help. The Wikipedia in Catalan have reached an agreement with the Joan Miró Foundation: They will include QRpedia codes next to the highlights of his upcoming exhibition about Joan Miró. It's the most important exhibit in the last 20 years, and has passed summer at Tate in London, this autumn will be in Barcelona, and then will go to National Gallery of Art in Washington. The articles have been made in Catalan and are being translated into English, and I would like you to help us translating some of them to your language. If you had asked me the article that we needed a translation of the most then I would have said キングス教会 (ジブラルタル) - actually I might have said "King's Chapel" as my Japanese is rather poor (... worse than that). GibraltarpediA competition deadline approaching[編集]

Dear Asanagi

The GibraltarpediA competition deadline is fast approaching on December the 26th, thank you for all your hard work, please could you email your address using the link on the left of the screen under toolbox on my userpage so that we can send a tshirt and maybe your prizes. The response has been amazing, so far people have created over 500 new articles in 30 languages and added over 2000 new images.

We are writing a press release to highlight all the hard work the contributors have made, please would you fill out your section on the contributors page, telling people why you chose to contribute to the project. Please add as much or as little personal information as you feel comfortable with, it's the motivation and hard work that is essential not what you look like or where you live although that would be nice too.

はじめまして、利用者:Asturio Cantabrioと申します。主にスペイン、特にバスク地方の記事を触っている者ですが、最初に作成した3記事はジブラルタル湾、エウローパ岬、ジブラルタルの交通でした。2012年にメインページでジブラルタルの岩の記事を見たことがきっかけです。

利用者‐会話:AsanagiでCatalan culture challengeというプロジェクトの存在を知りました。正式な参加はしていませんが、2015年春にはラ・バングアルディア、トラムンタナ山脈、2012年カタルーニャ独立デモなどを作成しました。Catalan culture challengeの存在はカタルーニャにも目を向けるきっかけになりました。

問題があって除去した内容をAsanagi-botが復活させてしまう件について[編集]

Asanagiさん、こんにちは。

Asanagi-botが利用者:Asanagi-bot/最近のリダイレクト起こしにて、削除の方針のケースB-2にあたる書き込み（非公開とされている情報）をしていることを確認したため、Wikipedia:利用者ページの削除依頼経由で管理者に版指定削除を行ってもらいました。リダイレクトを解消するような編集を収集して一覧にするという作業内容上、時にはこのような対処を行わねばならないというのはやむを得ないかと思います。

ところがその後、Asanagi-botが同じ内容の記載を再度行っておりました。Botの内部にキャッシュが残っているのか、その他の理由によるものなのかは存じ上げませんが、このままでは今後も編集除去や版指定削除の対処が必要になり、場合によっては一覧ページに対して保護依頼を出すことになるかもしれません。8月28日 (火) 05:54 (UTC)のIPユーザーによるリダイレクト起こしを一覧から排除することはできないでしょうか。やむを得ないようであれば利用者:Asanagi-bot/最近のリダイレクト起こしのみ2018年9月4日までアップデートを中止する手もあるかと思われます。

Dear all,

The Wikipedia Asian Month 2023[1] is coming ! The campaign start within a flexible 30 days from November to December. Following with the changes of the rules made by last year, the wish to have more people get to know Asia and Asian related topic is the same! Click "Here" to Organize/Join a WAM Event.

1. Propose "Focus Theme" related to Asia !

If you are based somewhere in Asia, or have specific passion on an Asian topic, please propose your "Focus Theme" by October 25th. The WAM international team will select 5 themes. Please propose your focus theme through this link[2].

2. Enhancing existing articles can also count as part of campaign contribution.

Any edits, including creating new articles or adding new content to existing articles, over 3000 bytes in total would be able to get a reward. Last year, due to this change of rules, the Programs & Events Dashboard was suggested. However, according to community survey of 2022, Fountain Tool is still the best platform for tracking edit and points. You don’t need to create any Dashboard. For the tracking of editing existing article, the international team is currently designing a form. Will soon publish to the main page of WAM 2023.

3. More flexible campaign time

The contribution duration would remain 30days, but we extended the overall campaign timeline to 2 months. All organizers can decide when to start their WAM as long as the whole duration is within November 1st to December 31th. It means that you can participate in WAM based on the needs of your local community.

Timetable

October 1st, 2023 : Publish International Campaign Page of the Year
October 5th to 25th, 2023 : Call for focus themes of WAM 2023.
Before 29 October, 2023: Complete Registration [3] of Each language Wikipedia.
November 1st, UTC 00:00 to December 31th, UTC 00:00, 2023: Running the Campaign. (Find your local campaign for the actual event date.)
January 1st to March 15th, 2024: Auditing of each language Wikipedia.
March 30th, 2024: Deadline of reporting statistics and eligible editors to the International Team
April 1st to May 15th, 2024: The international team distributes Barnstars and Certificates to eligible editors of each event.
