Yassie（1975年 - ）は、埼玉県さいたま市在住の会社員。外資系企業で9年、英語を使用した事務的な職務、Microsoft Excelを用いたデータ分析、およびVBAを用いたプログラミングを行ってきたが、うつ病で退職、療養後、2011年11月にIT系企業に再就職。国際基督教大学卒。また、オハイオ州立大学で経営学を学ぶため、アメリカ合衆国オハイオ州コロンバス市に住んでいたことがある。その間、グレイハウンドなどでミシシッピ川以東の州のほとんどに足を踏み入れた。そうした経歴から、アメリカ合衆国関連、特に都市についての記事執筆を得意とする。また、同国の音楽や映画などポップ・カルチャーの知識も持つ。
Yassie (b. 1975) is a business person living in Saitama City, Saitama, Japan. I am currently working in an IT company, since November 2011, after recovering from Major depressive disorder. I used to work in non-Japan(mostly U.S.)-based companies for 9 years, and have experience in English-using clerical, data analysis with Microsoft Excel and some programming with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). I earned B.A. degree from International Christian University in March 2000. I also lived in Columbus, Ohio, USA to study business at Ohio State University. I have been to most states east of the Mississippi River mainly by Greyhound bus, which makes me good at writing about American cities. Also, I have some knowledge about American popular culture.
