チャーチ・オブ・ミザリー（Church Of Misery）は、日本のドゥーム・メタルバンド。

目次

概要 [編集]

ブラック・サバスに強い影響を受けた禍々しく鈍重なサウンドにシリアルキラーをモチーフとした英語の歌詞、アートワークが特徴。現在までテッド・バンディ、ジョン・ウェイン・ゲイシー、ジェフリー・ダーマー、アンドレイ・チカチーロ、アルバート・フィッシュらを題材として取り上げている。また、アルバムのタイトルやジャケットは古今東西の名盤をパロディとしたものが多い。

1996年に三上達人（Tatsu Mikami）を中心として結成され、2001年2月にリリースされたアルバム"Master of Brutality"は海外で高い評価を受けた。現在は東京・吉祥寺を拠点としつつ、欧米でツアー活動を行っている。
