Operated by JG400, this Me163 was captured at Husum, Germany, in 1945. It was brought to Farnborough and given the Air Ministry serial ‘A.M.215’. In 1947 it moved to the College of Aeronautics at Cranfield and remained there until 1974 when it was taken to Cambridge for restoration and then went on display at East Fortune where it remains.
Currently on display in the Military Aviation Hangar at the National Museum of Flight (part of National Museums Scotland).
