Although theHorse tried his best, he could find no way to revengehimself upon his enemy until he applied to a manfor help. The man said promptly, I can tell you how wewill do it. You let me saddle and bridle you, andthen you can carry me till we overtake the Stag,when I can easily kill him. The angry Horse consented, and the Stag waskilled. The Horse neighed with joy, and cried out, Nowtake off this heavy saddle, this iron bit, and the bridlethat galls me so. I want to run back and tell myfamily.
