English: Picture of the Hitzrot House, designed by Frederick C. Sauer and built in 1892, at 626 Market Street in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, on May 16, 2010. This was the former house of Dr. Henry W. Hitzrot, who died in 1906, then the Fraternal Order of Eagles bought the building in 1911. As one can tell by the picture, this house has seen better days, though at one time it was probably a really nice place. "An article from the Nov. 7, 1892, issue of the Daily News... calls the Hitzrot mansion 'one of the finest homes in Pennsylvania' and says that construction cost $50,000".[1] Hopefully, this old house will be restored and preserved before it's too late.
