Built 1940 as a Mk.I and flew with 253sqn during the Battle of Britain.
Later converted to a Mk.IIa with the new serial 'DR348' and despatched to Russia for the Soviet Air Force by the end of 1941. Recovered from a crash site in Russia during 1990, she was restored by Hawker Restorations and made her first post-restoration flight earlier in 2017.
Now based at Old Warden and operated by Bygone Aviation in her own genuine 253sqn markings, she is seen making her airshow debut at the Shuttleworth Collection Evening Airshow, Old Warden, Bedfordshire, UK.
