Built 1956 as a Hunter F.6 and served with 66sqn until converted to an FGA.9 in 1959/1960. She next flew with 43sqn, then 8sqn, then in April 1964 the combined 8/43sqn based at Khormaksar, as part of the Aden Strike Wing. She also served with 208sqn at Bahrain before returning to the UK for storage in December 1968. In September 1971 she joined 229OCU at RAF Chivenor in the training role, continuing with 1TWU (Tactical Weapons Unit) at Brawdy from September 1974 until retired in July 1984 and being allocated to the RAF Museum. Repainted in genuine 8/43sqn markings, she remains on display in the Historic Main Hangars, RAF Museum, Hendon, London, UK.
