English: This image compares X-ray diffraction patterns of gamma-Boron. The top curve is taken from the 2009 Nature paper (supplementary information) by Oganov et al. . The bottom stick pattern is from 1965 Nature paper (Table 1) . The image unambiguously proves that gamma-Boron was synthesized by Wentorf in 1965 and reported in a major scientific journal (though without solving the crystalline structure).
