解説Banana Trees Blown Over By Typhoon Nesat (6209809239).jpg
Before dawn on 27 September, Typhoon Nesat hit the Philippines. The city of Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, which is 1190 km away, was also hit by the tail of the typhoon. Many trees were uprooted, billboards ripped apart and blown down, and some coastal houses even had its roof ripped off. I did not manage to go around on that actual day itself as I was quite busy, unfortunately. I was only more free this Sunday morning so I went around Luyang to snap some of the aftermath of Nesat. These few banana trees along Kolam Road was uprooted and now, the leaves are turning yellow. The trees aren't damaged, but to save it, it would need to be straightened up. One with fruits totally fell to the ground and it would be quite hard to revive it.
