定型発達
定型発達(ていけいはったつ、英:Neurotypical, NT)は、自閉コニュニティにおいて造り出された用語で、自閉症スペクトラムに当てはまらない人々を指し示す[1]。
定型発達の人々は、(行動学上)大多数の人が「普通」とみなす神経学上の発達をとげており、特に言語情報やソーシャル・キュー(社会的合図)を処理できる能力をもつ[2]。
後にこの概念は、定型発達における個々人の差異と同じ差異として非定型発達を認識すべきだとする神経多様性運動(en:neurodiversity movement) と科学コミュニティにより受け入れられた[3][4][5]。
英国では、英国自閉症協会(National Autistic Society、NAS) はジャーナリストへこの用語を使用するよう推奨している[6]。
日本では、略して「定型」と呼ぶことがある。
