ホルトノキ科 (Elaeaocarpaceae) は被子植物の科で、主として熱帯・亜熱帯に分布する常緑樹、12属600種ほどを含む。日本にはホルトノキ（本州南部から東南アジアまで分布）など、ホルトノキ属の4種が自生する。利用価値は少ないが、庭園樹（ホルトノキなど）あるいは花の観賞用に栽培されるものもある。
