イアン・カーショー

イアン・カーショー（英語名:Ian Kershaw 1943年4月29日 - ）は、イギリスの歴史家。英語圏でのアドルフ・ヒトラー、ナチズムの研究で有名。イングランド地方ランカシャー・オールドハム出身。

来歴[編集]

セント・ビーズ大学、マンチェスター大学、リバプール大学、オックスフォード大学で教育を受けた。元来中世の研究家として教育を受けたが、1970年代に近現代ドイツ史の研究に転向した。現在はシェフィールド大学の教授である。ナチス国家とヒトラーに反対したドイツ国民 (Germans against Hitler) と題された分野を講義している。
