「ナロウ」と「ナロー」[編集]

英語の発音としてはナロウなのでしょうが、外来語と考えるとナローでよいように思います。Gerridae

単位[編集]

英語版でもフィートとメートルを併用しているようです。日本語版も同様の記述が良いと思います。Gerridae

現在使わない書き方ではありませんが、なんとなく大正ロマンの香りがします。ディーゼルでよいのではないでしょうか。Gerridae

National Association of Boat Owners の訳語[編集]

全国ボート所有者協会ぐらいが良いと思います。Gerridae

"National" as government official can be translated as "国家", but "national" which means "nationwide" is better to be translated as "全国". I agree to translate the name of this organisation as "全国ボート所有者協会". I have corrected style of Cccidny's..--Peccafly 2008年6月11日 (水) 07:15 (UTC)[返信]

あまり聞いたことのないことばです。造語でしょうか。英語版からもリンクしている「プレジャーボート」だとどのような不都合があるのか、（お手数でなければ）解説していただけると嬉しいです。Gerridae

Image[編集]

I added an image, two narrow boats side by side at Grand Union Canal. This is the only one I found which may explain "narrow". However, not the best one. If anybody knows better one, s/he is welcome to replace. Cccidny 2008年7月7日 (月) 22:40 (UTC)[返信]
