A Puerto Rico Army National GuardUH-60 Black Hawk takes off from Gulfport, Miss., on March 23, 2007, for the 1,600-mile flight to Puerto Rico after maintenance at the Army National Guard's 1108th Aviation Classification and Repair Depot (AVCRAD) at the Gulfport/Biloxi Int'l Airport Facility. The Puerto Rico Army National Guard crew planned to make the flight over five days in a series of hops between cities to allow for refueling, safety breaks and clearances. The 1108th AVCRAD is one of four National Guard units nationwide that support Army National Guard aircraft, including by performing depot-level maintenance. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
