ジルベール・シモンドン（フランス語: Gilbert Simondon、1924年10月2日 - 1989年2月7日）は、フランスの哲学者。個体化の理論を提唱したことで知られている。ジル・ドゥルーズとベルナール・スティグレールに大きな影響を与えた。

履歴[編集]

フランスのサン＝テティエンヌに生まれる。ジョルジュ・カンギレム、マルシャル・ゲルー、モーリス・メルロー＝ポンティの薫陶を受ける。出身校はパリの高等師範学校とソルボンヌ大学である。

1958年に提出された彼の博士論文にして主著となる「ゲシュタルトおよび情報の概念の観点からみた個体化」は2回に分けて発表された。1度目は1964年に『個体とその物理学的・生物学的発生』という題名でフランス大学出版局から、残りの部分は後年1989年に『心的および集団的個体化』としてオービエ出版からそれぞれ出版された。彼の博士論文は当初あまり注目を集めていなかったが、シモンドンが博士論文の直後1958年にオービエ社から上梓した補足的論文「技術的対象の存在様態について」が、ジル・ドゥルーズ、続いてブルーノ・ラトゥールやベルナール・スティグレールらに言及されたことを受けて、博士論文の方も広く読まれるようになった。2005年にはようやく、博士論文の完全版がジェローム・ミロンの手により出版された。
