Deleting items in use[edit]

@MSGJ My understanding is that there is a bot that removes links to deleted items after a short delay. Eagerly removing links makes it harder to undelete an item if an error has been made. As a result, I believe it is better to leave "broken" links when deleting. Is there a previous discussion of this issue that I should be looking at? Bovlb (talk) 20:05, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Saleh al-Arouri[edit]

In the encyclopedia they write facts, the facts are that there is no such thing as a Palestinian state to exist, what there is is a Palestinian Authority, autonomy, that's what there is.

The description in the figure "Palestinian state" is "a state that, if established, will be designated for the Palestinians" So when it is established I will also be in favor of it being written a Palestinian state.

Fernando Acevedo (Q3545278)[edit]

Hi باسم, in the place of birth (P19) and date of death (P570) of the Fernando Acevedo (Q3545278) item, both the source in larepublica.pe newspaper and in elcomercio.pe newspaper mention the same values. In the case of larepublica.pe newspaper the value is indicated in the section "¿Quién era Fernando Acevedo? ", so I have restored the source to larepublica.pe, I have also added a Peruvian government source (Peruvian Sports Institute) where date of birth (P569) and place of birth (P19) are mentioned. Hi @باسم:, I have noticed that in these editions 1, 2 and 3 you removed again the source of the larepublica.pe newspaper that contains the affirmed value of date of birth (P569), place of birth (P19), date of death (P570) in the section "¿Quién era Fernando Acevedo?" مرحبا @باسم. اريد حذف خانة: "مُعرِّف أرشيف الإنترنت (IAid)"، وخانة: "العمل الكامل مُتاحٌ في" من عنصر: "القاموس الطبي العربي". وخانة: "العمل الكامل مُتاحٌ في" من عنصر: "معجم مصطلحات أمراض الفم والأسنان" وعنصر: "معجم مرعشي الطبي الكبير". كوني أنا من قمت قديما باضافة المعلومات عن جهل مني بأن الكتب محمية بحقوق طباعة ونشر، فلا اريد تحمل مسؤولية نشري لمحتوى محمي أكثر من ذلك. نعم قد يكون الأمر مخالفا للسياسات ولكن ارجو تفهمه واعتباره من جملة "طلب الكاتب الحذف بنية حسنة". أخطأت وأريد تصويب الخطأ بارك الله بكم. أيضا ان أمكن أن يتم اخفاء التعديلات من ارشيف العناصر. شكرا لكم. مغوار (talk) 07:12, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@مغوار: لا أستطيع ذلك، فمئات المقالات في ويكيبيديا تستفيد منها الآن وتُساهم في توثيق كمًا هائلًا من المُصطلحات. أضف إلى ذلك فإنَّ الضرر المادِّي - إن وُجد - فهو غير مُؤثِّر كون مثل هذه المُؤلَّفات لا تُباع بكميَّاتٍ هائلة مثل الروايات، ومن يرغب بالسرقة الفكريَّة أو الأدبيَّة سيفعل ذلك سواء كان الكتاب إلكترونيًّا أم ورقيًّا-- باسم (talk) 11:16, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

نعم لا أنكر استفادة المقالات منها. لكن الطريقة ليست شرعية! وكما قلت من يرغب بالحصول على الكتب سيستطيع الوصول اليها من غير الطريقة التي وضعتُها. فالمصطلحات ستظل مؤكدة لكن بدون رابط يصلها بالكتاب مباشرة. اكرر اني لا اريد ان اكون شريكا في الامر فقد اخطأت واحاول تصويب الأمر، ولا اريد حمل عبء ألا يسامحني أصحاب الكتب. الأمر يشغل تفكيري بارك الله بكم. مغوار (talk) 11:33, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@مغورا: أظن الإفادة أعظم من الضرر، لأنَّ أغلب الناس لن تستطيع الوصول لهذه الكُتُب سيِّما القديم منها، فاعتبر الأمر مُساهمة في نشر العلم والمعرفة. أضف إلى ذلك، من يعمل بالطب والعلم اليوم لن يضع مُؤلَّفاته بالعربيَّة غالبًا بل بالإنكليزيَّة، فإن اقتبس شيئًا من هذه المُؤلَّفات يتعيَّن عليه ترجمته. فتوكَّل على الله ولا تحزن-- باسم (talk) 11:47, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

سامحني سأخرج عن الموضوع قليلا لعلي أرتاح ولعلي أجد الحل. نيتي كانت تلك منذ البداية، ان يكون ما أقدمه حسنة لوجه الله. لكن بدأت الشكوك حول ماذا إن اخطأت في ما أُقدم؟، ثم ماذا إن اعتديت على حقوق أحد؟ (كما هو الحال الآن)، وغير ذلك مما جعلني اراجع نفسي وأحاول مراجعة ما قدمت خشية الوقوع في الخطأ "مما قادني لترك التحرير على الموسوعة منذ أشهر"، لكن احيانا يكون الاوان قد فات. فماذا إن لم يسامحني صاحب الكتاب؟ أو أني قد أرشدت أحدهم إلى خطأ؟ أو أن أضع مراجع خاطئة أو غير معتمدة أو محفوظة الحقوق؟ أو أن أكون غير ملتزم بالسياسات. أعتذر عن الخوض في الأمر لكني حقا مشوش الذهن منذ أشهر وقد تركت التحرير على الموسوعة لهذا السبب. مغوار (talk) 12:39, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
