Google I/O（略称：I/O）はアメリカ合衆国カリフォルニア州でGoogleが開催する年次開発者向け会議。I/OではGoogleとAndroid、ChromeおよびChromeOS、APIs、Google Web Toolkit、App Engineなどのオープンソースを用いてweb、モバイル、企業アプリケーションを構築することに重点を置いた技術的なセッションを紹介している。
I/Oは2008年に初めて開催されエグゼクティブチームによって計画された。「I/O」はinput/output(入出力)とスローガン「Innovation in the Open」(開かれたイノベーション)を表している[1]。本イベントの様式は「Google Developer Day」と類似している。

Android Instant Appsはアプリへのリンクをタップすればインストールせずにアプリを実行でき、使用後は 自動で消去される機能である[18]。 AndroidのVRサポート「Daydream」[19] モバイルアプリプラットフォームの「Firebase」はストレージ、分析、レポート機能を追加した[20] [21][22] 初年度のGoogle Playアワードは10カテゴリーで今年のベストアプリとゲームが発表された[23] |
