ロッキンジステークス（Lockinge Stakes）は、イギリスのBHA（英国競馬統括機構）が例年5月にニューベリー競馬場の芝8ハロン（約1609m）で施行する競馬のG1（グループ1）競走である。出走条件は4歳以上。

概要
[編集]この競走は、ニューベリーの北に位置するロッキンジにちなんで名付けられた。 1958年に創設し、当初は3歳以上の馬に開放されていた。 初回優勝は、同年の2000ギニーステークスの勝ち馬であるPall Mall[1]。同馬は翌年にも連覇を果たした[2]。
グレード制は1971年に導入され、ロッキンジステークスにはG2として施行されたが、1983年にはG3に格下げになり[3] 、1985年に再びG2に昇格した[4]。1995年にはG1に昇格し、出走条件が4歳以上に変更された。
ロッキンジステークスは、2011年にブリティッシュチャンピオンズシリーズの一部になった[5]。 現在、マイル部門の第2戦であり、10月のクイーンエリザベス2世ステークスで終了する。
ロッキングステークスの優勝馬は、クイーンアンステークスに出走することがしばしばある。 同年に両方のレースで優勝したのは、2012年のフランケル、2022年のバーイードである。
