Candidate for deletion[編集]

Hi there,

I'm sorry about writing in English - i don't know Japanese.

I came here because this is linked from the English page en:Kypchakia.

The English page is a candidate for deletion, because the current content is completely unsourced and looks like someone's fantasy. If the Japanese page is translated from the English one, it might be wrong. Please re-check your sources.

However - if the Japanese page is something different and correct, maybe the English page can be re-written.

This Japanese page is mainly based on the Japanese sources and original from the English page en:Kypchakia. Though this page is linked for the English page, its content is not related to the English one. But I recommend you rewrite the English page based on English sources. The English page talks about some new political homeland for Turkic peoples, which doesn't exist. Someone made it up and wrote about it in Wikipedia. What is the Japanese page about? The Kypchaks are a real Turkic ethnic group, but what is "Kypchakia"? If i search Google with the word "Kypchakia" all i find is pages that were copied from Wikipedia. I would write something, but i don't even know where to start. Currently it seems like "Kypchakia" doesn't exist at all and there's nothing to write about. --アミルエ｡アハロニ 2006年6月4日 (日) 22:11 (UTC)[返信]

キプチャク草原 means the Kypchak steppe in English, and is the historical term used in translation of Dasht-i Qipchak (Desht-i Qipchaq) in Persian. As we know, Dasht-i Qipchak is the historical region in present day southern Ukraine and Russia (see en:Kypchaks). I'm sorry, I misunderstood that "Kypchakia" was the word to translate Dasht-i Qipchak into English. Safkan 2006年6月6日 (火) 14:29 (UTC)[返信]
