トニー・フェネロン

トニー・フェネロン（Tony Fenelon）はオーストラリアのピアノ・オルガン奏者。

略歴

オーストラリア生まれ。メルボルン大学にて理学修士を取得後、 メルボルン音楽院にてピアノを学ぶ。メルボルンの病院で技師として在職する傍ら 演奏活動を行う。オーストラリア・ポップス・オーケストラとの共演など行い、クラシックか らポップスまで幅広いジャンルの演奏を身につける。 1965年メルボルン・リージェント劇場にシアター・オルガン 奏者として招かれ、70年代前半に劇場が閉鎖されるまで奏者を務めた。 1995年よりローランド社のアドバイザーを務め、オーストラリア、日本、イギリ ス、カナダ、香港、台湾などでピアノとオルガンのプロモーションを行う。 1998年以降は世界各国でのコンサート活動を本格的に開始、ピアノ、シアター・オルガン、 電子オルガンの演奏で年間60回にも及ぶ公演をこなすほか、現在までに23枚のレコード/CDをリリースする。 2003年「The Medal of the Order of Australia（オーストラリア勲章）」を受賞。
