ゼイン・ジャヴァッド・マリク（Zain Javadd Malik, 1993年1月12日 - ）は、イングランドの歌手。イギリスのボーイズグループ、ワン・ダイレクションの元メンバー。身長172cm。瞳の色はヘーゼル。アーティスト名は「ZAYN」[1]。

略歴[編集]

イングランド、ブラッドフォードにてパキスタン系イングランド人の父ヤーセル・マリクと、アイルランドの血を引くイングランド人の母トリシア・ブラナンの間に生まれた[2]。1人の姉と2人の妹がいる。

2015年3月すべての芸能活動からの引退を表明。「引退後は普通の一般男性として生きていきたい」と声明をだしたが、翌週ソロで活動することを移籍事務所より公表した。7月30日にRCAレコードと契約し、ソロ活動をすることを自身のTwitterで発表[3]。

2016年3月25日、「ZAYN」名義でアルバム『Mind Of Mine』を世界同時発売し、先行シングルとして1月29日に『pillowtalk』を配信リリースし、ソロデビューを果たす[1]。

私生活[編集]

リトル・ミックスのペリー・エドワーズと婚約をしたが、2015年に婚約解消をしている[4]。

2016年、ソロリリースした『pillowtalk』のMVには恋人のジジ・ハディットが出演した[1]。
