ジョン・ハイマン
ジョン・ハイマン（John Hyman, 1960年3月6日 - ）は、イギリスの哲学者。現在、オックスフォード大学の美学教授。
ハイマンはオックスフォード大学から学士号、修士号、博士号を取得し、1988年に同大学ザ・クイーンズ・カレッジのフェローに就任した。2008年からは『British Journal of Aesthetics』の編集委員を務める。2001年から2002年にはゲティ研究所（ロサンゼルス）のゲティ奨学金を受給し、2002年から2003年にはベルリン学術コレーグのフェロー、2010年から2012年にかけてリヴァーハルム基金の主要研究フェローを歴任した。2014年から2015年にはソルボンヌ大学（フランス）の哲学部招聘教授を務めた。
研究分野は、認識論、形而上学、心の哲学、行為、美学、アートの哲学、ウィトゲンシュタイン[1] 。知識を能力として捉えるべきだと分析しており、アートの本性は神経科学によって説明されうるという考えを批判している。
