ジャック・ヘイフォード（Jack Williams Hayford、1934年6月25日 - 2023年1月8日） は、アメリカ合衆国の牧師、神学者。国際フォースクエア伝道教会の総裁を務めた。

ミクタムのマジェスティ（Majesty）の作詞、作曲者としてよく知られている。

来歴[編集]

  • 1934年、カリフォルニア州 ロサンゼルスに生まれる。
  • 1954年に、アンナ・スミスと結婚し、夫妻は4人の子供と11人の孫を与えられた。
  • 1956年、L. I. F. E.バイブル・カレッジを卒業。
  • 1970年、アズサ太平洋大学を卒業。

1969年、彼は少人数の会衆の牧会を始めた。この教会は19人から南カリフォルニアで最も大きな教会の1つに数えられるようになった。 ヘイフォード博士は2004年10月1日以来、国際フォースクエア伝道教会の総裁である。

ヘイフォード博士は、プロミス・キーパーズの働き、キングス・カレッジ神学校の創立者、エルサレムの平和のための祈祷日の創始者、4ダースの著書、600の讃美歌とコーラスの作曲者として知られている。 1978年に書かれた讃美歌「マジェスティ」は、世界中のキリスト教会で讃美されている。

2023年1月8日、死去[1]。88歳没。
