クリティ・シェッティ（Krithi Shetty、2003年9月21日[1] - ）は、インドのテルグ語映画、タミル語映画で活動する女優。主演デビュー作となった『Uppena』でフィルムフェア賞 南インド映画部門新人女優賞（英語版）を受賞している。

生い立ち

2003年9月21日にマンガルールに暮らすトゥル語話者のブント族（英語版）家庭に生まれた[2][3][4]。父クリシュナ・シェッティは実業家、母ニーティ・シェッティはファッションデザイナーとして働いている[3]。成長後はムンバイの大学に進学し、学業のかたわらモデルとしてテレビコマーシャルに出演していた[2]。

キャリア

2021年にブッチ・バーブ・サーナー（英語版）の『Uppena』で主演デビューした[5][6]。同作は興行収入10億ルピーを記録するヒット作となり[7]、『ザ・タイムズ・オブ・インディア』は「新人のヴァイシュナヴ（英語版）とクリティは、キャラクターの複雑な心情を見事に演じ切って見せた」と批評している[8]。同年は『Shyam Singha Roy』でナーニと共演し[9]、興行収入6億ルピーを記録するなど興行的な成功を収めた[10]。2022年は『Bangarraju』でナーガ・チャイタニヤ（英語版）と共演し、こちらも興行収入6億6000万ルピーを記録するヒット作となったものの[11]、続いてラーム・ポティネーニ（英語版）と共演した『The Warriorr』は批評家から酷評され、興行的にも失敗している[12]。このほか、『Macherla Niyojakavargam』『Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali』にも出演しているが、両作とも批評家から酷評され、興行的にも失敗している[13][14][15][16]。2023年にはヴェンカト・プラブ（英語版）の『Custody』でタミル語映画デビューしたものの[17]、興行成績は伸び悩んだ[18]。2024年は『Manamey』でシャルワナンド（英語版）と共演し、興行的な成功を収めている[19]。
