ガジャ・マダ大学（英語: Gadjah Mada University、公用語表記: Universitas Gadjah Mada）は、ジョグジャカルタに本部を置くインドネシアの国立大学。1949年創立、1949年大学設置。大学の略称はUGM。 インドネシアで長い伝統を持ち、最大規模を誇る高等教育機関の一つである。大学名は、マジャパヒト王国の宰相として知られるガジャ・マダに由来する。インドネシア大学(UI)、バンドン工科大学(ITB)と共にインドネシアを代表するトップクラスの名門校である。 インドネシアのジャワ島中部に位置するジョグジャカルタは、かつての王国の首都として、ジャワ文化・芸術の発祥地であり、文学と舞踊の歴史ある伝統と若い世代が多く集まる教育都市機能が融合する、バリに次ぐインドネシア第二の観光都市として世界中からの旅行者が多いことで知られる。

UGMは、インドネシア独立戦争の最中、オランダによる再植民地化の脅威の中で設立された国立大学であり、当時首都機能が移されていたジョグジャカルタに創設された。設立は1949年の政府規則第23号に基づき行われ、大学の開学日は、オランダ軍によるジョグジャカルタ侵攻から1周年に当たる1949年12月19日に定められた。創設当初は医学、歯学、薬学、法学、経済学、文学、農学、獣医学などで構成されていた。その後規模を拡大し、現在では18学部、24の研究センターを擁する総合研究大学となっている。学士課程、修士課程、博士課程、専門職課程など多数の教育プログラムを提供しており、学生数は約5万5千人、教員数は約2,500人に達する。留学生も多数在籍している。

キャンパスはジョグジャカルタ北部のブラスクムール地区に広がり、総面積は約357ヘクタールに及ぶ。大学施設には図書館、研究施設、競技場、フィットネスセンターなどが含まれる。設立当初は、ジョグジャカルタ王宮の施設を大学運営に提供していたハメンクブウォノ9世の協力を受け、王宮内で講義が行われていた。

ガジャ・マダ大学は、インドネシア大学、バンドン工科大学と並ぶインドネシア屈指の名門大学として知られ、特に医学、農学、法学、経済学、政治学、社会科学などの分野で高い評価を受けている。QS世界大学ランキング2026では、インドネシア国内2位、世界224位にランクインしている。
