This is the sole surviving Il-4 and was shot down by Japanese fighters in 1945. Recovered from the crash site in the late 1990s, it was rebuilt by the Aircraft Restoration Company in Moscow and went on display in 2004. While it is a combination of original components and new build mock-up, it is certainly one of the more convincing exhibits here.
