ブラインド・ボーイズ・オブ・アラバマ（元はファイブ・ブラインド・ボーイズ・オブ・アラバマ）はグラミー賞を5回受賞しているアラバマ出身のグループ。
概要[編集]
1939年結成。70年間にわたりツアーやライブをこなし、立派なディスコグラフィーを成している。
現行メンバーは7名で、創始メンバーのジミー・カーターを含む3名が盲目である[1]。
創始メンバーのClarence Fountainもたまにツアーに参加する。
結成以来、観客を「スピリチュアルに元気づける」のを目的としている。
盲目のメンバーRicky McKinnieは「僕らの障害はハンデではない。何ができないか、じゃなくて、何をするかが問題だ。僕らは良いゴスペル音楽をやるよ」と発言している。[2][3][4][5] [6][7]
