ハーバート・ギンタス（ギンティス）（英語：Herbert Gintis、1940年 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の経済学者。

ギンタスは、1961年にペンシルベニア大学で数学の学士号を、1962年にハーバード大学で数学の修士号を、その後1969年にハーバード大学から経済学の博士号を得た。ギンタスは、（1989年から断続的に、2002年からは現在まで）イタリアのシエナ大学の経済学部客員教授であり、2001年からサンタフェ研究所の在外教授職である。また2003年からはマサチューセッツ大学の名誉教授であり、2005年からはブダペストの中央ヨーロッパ大学の教授である。

1997年から2006年にかけて、人類学者であるロバート・ボイドとともに、学際的研究プロジェクト「経済的環境と規律・選好の進化」のディレクターを務めた。また長年の盟友であるサミュエル・ボールズとの共著『アメリカ資本主義と学校教育』は教育書博物館の本世紀賞を獲得している。
