ジェームズ・マーチ（James Gardner March、1928年 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の社会学者、政治学者。スタンフォード大学名誉教授であり、専門は組織論を始め、広範囲である。

略歴

• 1928年　オハイオ州クリーブランドに生まれる。
• 1949年　ウィスコンシン大学を卒業する（B.A.）。
• 1950年　イェール大学で修士号を取得する（M.A.）。
• 1953年　イェール大学で博士号を取得する（Ph.D.）。
• 1953年～1964年　カーネギーメロン大学の「心理学および産業管理」の助教授のあと教授となる。
• 1964年～1970年　カリフォルニア大学アーバイン校の社会科学スクールの「心理学および社会学」（および学部長）の教授となる。
• 1970年～1978年　スタンフォード大学の教授（David Jacks Professor of Higher Education）となる。
• 1970年～1995年　スタンフォード大学の「政治学および社会学」の教授となる。
• 1979年～1991年　スタンフォード大学の教授（Fred H. Merrill Professor of Management）となる。
• 1991年～1995年　スタンフォード大学の教授（Jack Steele Parker Professor of International Management）となる。
• 1995年～現在　スタンフォード大学名誉教授となる。
